SwiftHand Painting provides industrial floor coatings that Utah companies depend on for long-term durability, chemical resistance, and a clean, professional appearance. Whether it’s a warehouse, retail space, or mechanical room, we help protect your floors and elevate your workspace with coatings built to perform.

Epoxy Flooring Services for Warehouses and Facilities

Our coatings do more than just seal concrete; they create a safer, stronger, and easier-to-maintain surface. We use highly durable epoxy floor coating and concrete sealers designed for garage floors, warehouse settings, and other commercial and industrial applications. These systems stand up to heavy equipment, chemical-resistant spills, and frequent foot traffic without breaking down. Each project begins with expert surface preparation, including grinding, cleaning, and repairing existing concrete. We apply multiple layers to build a smooth, abrasion-resistant finish that reduces concrete dusting, improves air quality, and resists tire marks, corrosion, and temperature changes. Whether it’s for commercial kitchens, garage floor coatings, or industrial flooring, our expert team delivers lasting results.

Commercial Concrete Coating Solutions Built for Demanding Workspaces

Unsealed concrete breaks down fast in busy commercial settings. Our concrete floor sealers and industrial coatings provide abrasion resistance, repel chemicals, and reduce dust and debris buildup. We also improve safety with anti slip additives, color-coded zones, and optional moisture barriers for added protection.

We work with business owners, contractors, and facility managers across Salt Lake City and surrounding areas. Our team manages the installation process with clear communication and reliable scheduling, from the initial estimate to the final walkthrough.

From functional workspaces to client-facing interiors, SwiftHand Painting delivers strong, clean coatings that support your daily operations. We prep with care, finish with precision, and stay on schedule. For high foot traffic or heavy machinery, we offer anti-slip finishes to enhance safety. Our sealants resist corrosion, tire marks, and sun exposure while helping reduce labor costs. Whether it’s pool decks or colored concrete, we deliver cost-effective results that last.

The right system depends on what your floor carries, what gets spilled on it, and how long it can be out of service. We’ll specify it after walking the floor, not before.

Quality You Can See

Why Our Work Holds Up in Utah's Climate

Painting in the Salt Lake Valley is not the same job as painting at sea level. Altitude, UV load, a short season and a hard freeze-thaw cycle all change what products work and what prep is non-negotiable.

High-Altitude UV Protection

Salt Lake City sits at roughly 4,200 feet, and UV rises about 10% for every 1,000 meters of elevation, according to the World Health Organization. That extra UV breaks down the binders in cheap coatings sooner, so we spec products rated for high-UV conditions.

A Short Paint Season, Planned Around

Exterior work in Utah realistically runs from spring through early fall, with application temperatures holding between roughly 50°F and 85°F. We schedule exteriors early and book them tightly, so you are not chasing a crew in October.

Prep Matched to the Surface

Stucco, cedar, brick, vinyl and aluminum siding all need different preparation. Homes built before 1978 need lead-safe handling on top of that, and we’re EPA RRP certified and lead-certified through the Utah Division of Air Quality to do it properly. Our crews prep to the substrate in front of them, not to a checklist.

Nine-Year Craftsmanship Guarantee

We back our workmanship for nine years because we control the variables that cause paint to fail early: surface prep, product selection and application. If our work fails, we return and correct it.

After cleanup, we conduct a thorough walkthrough with you to review every surface and detail. Any touch ups are completed promptly to ensure complete satisfaction. Your project concludes with a polished space and workmanship backed by our craftsmanship guarantee.

Commercial Concrete Coating Questions

How long will our floor be out of service?

It depends on the coating system and the size of the area. Faster-curing polyaspartic systems can get a floor back into light use much sooner than traditional epoxy, which needs several days before heavy traffic. For facilities that can’t shut down, we coat in sections so part of the floor stays usable throughout. You get the timings in writing with your estimate.

Epoxy or polyaspartic — which is right for a warehouse?

Epoxy is thicker, cheaper per square foot, and well suited to interior floors with stable temperatures and heavy loads. Polyaspartic cures faster, handles temperature swings better, and resists UV yellowing near open bay doors. Plenty of commercial floors use both: an epoxy base with a polyaspartic topcoat. We’ll recommend a system for your floor based on its use, not on what we’d prefer to install.

Can you add safety striping and anti-slip finishes?

Yes. Colour-coded zones, walkway striping and anti-slip additives can all be built into the coating system rather than painted on top afterwards, which means they wear at the same rate as the floor instead of flaking off first.

Can you coat a floor with oil stains or an old coating on it?

Usually. Oil and grease contamination gets degreased and ground out as part of prep, because coating over it is the fastest way to a coating that lifts. Existing coatings get assessed at the walkthrough: some can be ground and recoated, some need removing first. We’ll tell you which, and what it costs.

Will the coating handle chemicals and road salt?

A properly installed system will. Bare concrete absorbs spills, oils and winter de-icer, which pits and spalls the surface over time. A sealed floor keeps them on top where they can be cleaned up. If your floor sees specific chemicals, tell us what they are at the walkthrough so we can spec a system rated for them.
